What guides your financial principles?
I think of money as a tool that can assist with achieving a variety of goals. I think of a great quote by Tim Ferriss; “Money is multiplied in practical value depending on the number of W’s you control in your life: what you do, when you do it, where you do it, and with whom you do it.”
With regards to finances, what do you feel like is good advice to live by?
Live within your means and plan ahead for the future.Time is an incredible asset to have. Save soon and save often.
What brings you the most satisfaction professionally?
Providing clients with the information and tools required for them to optimize their financial experiences.
What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Consistent hard work will lead to success.
When and where are you happiest?
When I’m spending time with my wife and son. Most likely on a beach in Rhode Island.
How do you spend your free time (hobbies, interests)?
I try to spend as much time as I can with my wife and son. As a family, we try to be as active as possible, walking or riding bikes, hiking, and exercising. In addition, I serve on the Board of the Financial Planning Association as the current president-elect of the Fairfield County (CT) Chapter. The board position allows me to elevate my profession, advocate for issues important to the profession and our clients and give back in the form of pro-bono engagements.
