Community Involvement

We are very fortunate to work with wonderful clients in a great industry. Because of our good fortune I feel it is important for us to give back to the broader community. Beyond my role as President, I serve as an active member of the Board of Directors for Congress Asset Management and as a Trustee for both Regis College and Lawrence Catholic Academy. Previously, I was a long-time Trustee of Cristo Rey Boston High School and served on the Advisory Board of the Laboure Center in South Boston. In 2014, I was appointed by the Governor as a Director of the University of Massachusetts Building Authority.

What is your professional background?
Prior to Congress Wealth, I spent over a decade with SEI Investments (ticker SEIC) in a variety of roles. Most recently, I was a Senior Vice President leading their Family Office business and opening ultra-high net worth offices in Boston and London.

What guides your financial principles?
Treat your clients’ money like it was your mother’s.

What brings you the most satisfaction professionally?
Helping people achieve their goals and reduce their stress. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoy coaching the next-generation of Congress Wealth’s leadership.

What is the best advice you’ve ever received?
Find something you really enjoy doing and it won’t be work.

What is your favorite movie / book / album / TV show and why?
The Sea by John Banville because it is beautifully written about the unpredictable nature of memory. The lesson is that impressions are unreliable. Decisions as consequential as those affecting our financial lives should be made using fact-based expertise and advice.
